"Live every day like your hair was on fire." ~Zen Proverb

________, Amanda, 75, San Diego, CA, died peacefully in her sleep in her oceanside mansion on September 11, 2058. Amanda was the author of many best-selling novels, and in 2015 was awarded the Pulitzer Prize for her book of poems entitled, "World of Idiots: A Humble Tribute." In 2050 she was awarded the Ruth Lilly Poetry Prize for her lifelong contribution to the realm of creative and bizarre word usage. Amanda donated over 2.3 1/2 milion dollars to various causes including: The Fund for the Arts, Knox College, Indiana University (class of 2011), and a number of theatres all over the world. She was an active humanitarian almost to a fault, donating her time and energy to the prevention of child abuse world-wide. Her profound love of the animal kingdom lives on through her foundation NASSPT (National Association of Sea Snails are People Too). Survivors include her husband, actor Pierce Brosnan, 98, and their two grown children, Emma Elizabeth Rawlingsworth, 31, Stefan Alva Brosnan, 38, and her five grandchildren: Savanna, Jerome, Michael, Lydia and Eric. Amanda was an active member of the Presbyterian Church U.S.A. until the day before she died (two days ago she baked snickerdoodles for the Vanderbilt Presbyterian Church's famous annual bake-off. The winner is still TBA.) The memorial service will be held at the church at 11 am Saturday, and a reception will follow at the Pacific Community Center parlor, on the lower-level. Amanda will be remembered best for her wit, her ability to mix up cliches in a charming way and her love of the Arts. A new opera house is being built in her honor here in San Diego, next to the zoo.
